The purpose of this program is to honor individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to My Children Foundation’s mission.
How We Qualify
Qualifications are based on the duration of active participation, the number of children impacted, and total donation amounts. The criteria for recognition are outlined below:
***For Mentors***
We calculate a score based on the formula: Number of children supported x Number of months of mentorship.
- A score of 18 qualifies you for MCF Catalyst.
- A score of 60 earns MCF Ambassador.
***For Members, Donors, and Others***
To qualify as an MCF Catalyst, you must meet the following criteria:
- Continuous support for at least 3 years
- Total donations exceeding INR 50,000 (USD 750)
To qualify as an MCF Ambassador, you must meet the following criteria:
- Continuous support for at least 5 years
- Total donations exceeding INR 2,00,000 (USD 3,000)
In exceptional cases, the Board of Trustees reserves the right to confer the titles of MCF Catalyst or MCF Ambassador based on significant non-financial contributions.
What It Means to Be an MCF Catalyst or MCF Ambassador
MCF Catalyst:
- A distinct profile image to identify all Catalysts.
- Recognition on our website.
- Social media cards for sharing your involvement.
- Opportunity to meet with trustees, share your views, and influence the direction of My Children.
- Free invitations to all events and the annual meet organized by My Children.
- Special recognition at the Annual Meet.
MCF Ambassador:
- All the benefits of being an MCF Catalyst.
- Ability to visit any project site, including learning centers, and interact with children, volunteers, and staff.
- Voting rights on critical organizational decisions.
- The opportunity to establish a local chapter of My Children, leveraging our platform and running it independently.
- The ability to independently organize events, webinars, roundtables, or campaigns to further promote My Children’s mission.
