I am Naman Shaw, a resident of Baidyabati, Hooghly. I am 14years old. I study in class VIII in Champdani Adarsh Shramik Vidyamandir. I am a good at studies from childhood. My father was a tailor and used to earn livelihood for us. It was very difficult for him to raise three children with his small income. However he andy mother leave no stone unturned to give us good education. I have two brothers, one is elder than me and one is younger than me. We face many challenges on the of education. We could not afford tuition due to meagre income of my family. To add to our struggle, my father, the sole bread earner of our family, died of hear attack on 18th May,2023. Still I am continuing my studies. I stood fourth in my previous class.

I am in desperate need of funds to continue my studies as the income of my family has come to a roadblock due to the sudden death of my father. I am unable to buy books , notebooks and other stationary items required for studies. I can’t take any tuition for the betterment of my education. It is impossible for my mother to raise three children without any fixed income. If I don’t get financial and emotional support from any person or organisation, I have to quit studies and work as a child labour anywhere to support my family.
