By profession, an Advocate practicing primarily in West Bengal and I have been a part of the esteemed legal community since 10 years. An objective of our legal team/consultants consisting of other advocates, we provide free legal aid and advises to clients who are unable to defend themselves in the court of law, apart from our regular clientele. In course of my practice, there was a sudden demise of my office staff (who we call "clerk"), who had been an integral part of my office since the day I had joined this legal profession, around in the year 2010. He supported and endured during the ups and down of an advocate, who had just started his professional career. His sudden sad demise, obviously did affect me and without saying shattered his family, consisting of his wife, his 3 years old daughter and his widow mother. It is not always possible for me to personally visit their house, on every instances, since they stay in a village at Bagnan, West Bengal, but I made it a point to be in touch with his family, every month, over telephonic conversations for the last 3 years. Since the demise of my clerk, with whatever means possible, I have been supporting the education of my clerks daughter, who is around 6yrs of age now.
