Respected Sir/Madam, My name is Dhruba Ghosh, and I have recently secured admission to Kalyani Government Engineering College (KGEC) in the B.Tech Information Technology branch by achieving a General Rank of 2014 in WBJEE. Throughout my schooling, I have consistently focused on academic excellence despite severe financial constraints, scoring 95.85% in my Class 10 (WBBSE) exams and 97.4% in my Class 12 (WBCHSE) exams, where I achieved 11th rank in the state. To prepare for my engineering degree, I am also actively developing foundational programming skills in C++ and Python. My father is a small-scale cultivator, and our family relies solely on a very small piece of agricultural land with limited seasonal income. With our minimal earnings, my family is unable to support my higher education expenses. Although I have earned my admission purely on merit, we are currently struggling to manage semester fees, monthly PG accommodation rent, and the cost of an essential laptop needed for my coursework and coding projects. With the support of My Children Foundation, I am determined to complete my B.Tech degree with top grades, build a successful career in the technology sector, and ultimately achieve financial stability to support my family and give back to society.
