Soumyajit Chakraborty, a bright student of Ramakrishna Mission School, Narendrapur, dreams of studying at an IIT and becoming an engineer. Passionate about mathematics, science, astronomy, and even football, he has always worked hard to build a better future.

But during the COVID-19 pandemic, that future was suddenly at risk. Living in a remote village in North 24 Parganas, Soumyajit's family depended on his father's small rented shop for income. When the lockdown forced businesses to close, the family's livelihood disappeared almost overnight, making it difficult to meet even basic needs, let alone educational expenses.
