🌟 Rising Above Adversity

Samaresh Riudas, a determined young scholar from Chandinagar village in Hooghly district, is pursuing his Master's degree in History at Burdwan University. Growing up in a family with limited means, he faced hardships that tested both his resilience and his dreams. His father managed a small grocery shop, while his late mother earned a modest income by selling clothes in the village. Despite their struggles, his parents remained committed to his education.

Life took a difficult turn when Samaresh developed a serious blood-related illness during Class 11 and lost his mother in the same period. Overwhelmed by grief and health challenges, he had to pause his education for a year. Determined to fulfil his mother's dream of seeing him become a teacher, he returned to school with renewed courage. With the encouragement of his teachers, he scored an impressive 82% in his Higher Secondary Examination and continued his higher education.
