🌱 A Dream Shaped by Courage

Soumita Karmakar, a bright student from a small village in Hooghly district, has always excelled in academics despite difficult circumstances. She secured 79.57% in her Secondary Examination in 2020 and completed her Class 12 from Dwarhata Rajeshwari Institution with strong determination, even when her preferred science stream remained out of reach due to financial constraints.

Her father, a small farmer and the sole earning member of the family, struggled to support household needs, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted their already limited income. With education becoming increasingly difficult to afford, Soumita’s dream of pursuing higher studies and becoming a lawyer began to fade.
