First Flight of Ishani

It all started with Ishani. lshani Karmakar, a student of Tarakeswar Girls High School. She was appearing for Higher Secondary examination for West Bengal Board. After clearing the examination with flying colors she wanted to pursue Sanskrit Honours from Tarakeswar Degree College .But, it was not as easy as she had thought. Her financial state would never permit such an easy transition. With her father working in a teashop earning 100 rupees as daily wage and her mother working as domestic help pursuing a higher degree stands out of choice. Yet she did not give up. She went to her school to get the transfer certificate and candidly expressed her wish to get enrolled in the under graduate form. Her HM Monami Nag was intrigued not only by her grit, but felt sincerely to bail her out of this crisis. And all she could think about was MCF – My Children Foundation, an emerging organization with great promise. Nascent in stage the organization headed by Debashis Majumder with his companions like Sumona and Subhrajit were trying to do their little part as human beings. MCF becomes god-sent as the organization begins it maiden venture with Ishani and Ishani gets her dream bus. With the first social aid Ishani gets admitted to Tarakeswar Degree College and begins her journey for the higher degree. This was not a mere contribution of the organization but it gave lshani the much needed wings to fly. Fly to achieve liberty , education and make a space for herself. This first flight would have been lost had it not been MCF.. THANK YOU!
